Privacy Policy
This explains what Insulation Engine collects, why, and who else handles it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, company, and a password stored only as a one-way hash.
- Your company's records: the customers, leads, estimates, jobs, messages, call records and files you and your team put in. You are the owner of this information; we process it for you.
- Call recordings and texts made through the Service, when you turn those features on.
- Which version of these documents you agreed to, and when. We do not record your address or device for this.
- Basic technical logs needed to keep the Service secure and working.
How we use it
To run the Service, keep it secure, send the emails and texts you ask it to send, bill you, and help you when you contact us. We do not sell personal information and do not use your customers' information for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use outside companies to do parts of the work: a hosting and network provider, a database provider, an email provider, a phone and text provider, and a payment provider. They may process information only to provide their service to us. Card numbers go directly to the payment provider and never reach our systems.
Text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. That includes mobile phone numbers and agreement to receive texts, and it includes sharing with lead generators.
Access by an agency
If your company works with a marketing agency on the platform, you decide whether that agency can see your account. Everything an agency does inside your account is recorded in your audit log.
Keeping it safe
Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's, enforced in the database itself. Connections are encrypted. Sensitive actions are logged.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. After it ends we keep your data for a reasonable period so it can be returned to you, then delete it. Legal and accounting records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information. People whose information a contractor has entered should ask that contractor first. Questions or requests: support@insulationengine.com.
