Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Insulation Engine for use of the Insulation Engine software and website (the Service). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your company.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite.
  • Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.

Your data

Your customers, leads, estimates, jobs and files stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the Service for you. We do not sell your data and do not use your customers' information for anything except providing the Service.

Messages and calls to your customers

The Service can send texts and emails and record calls on your behalf. You are responsible for having the permission the law requires before you contact anyone, for honoring requests to stop, and for telling people when a call is recorded. Our phone provider blocks further texts to a number that replies STOP.

Plans, trials and payment

  • New companies get a free trial. No card is needed to start. When it ends you can still look at your information, but you cannot add or change anything until you choose a plan.
  • Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If an agency pays for your plan, the agency's arrangement with us governs that payment, and you may be asked to choose a plan if it ends.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, attempt to access another company's data, interfere with the Service, or resell it without our written agreement.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. After an account ends we keep its data for a reasonable period so it can be returned to you on request, then delete it.

Estimates and results

The Service helps you price and manage work. The prices, quantities and any energy or savings figures it produces are your estimates, and you are responsible for checking them before you send them to a customer.

Warranty and liability

The Service is provided as is, without promises that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

Changes and contact
